Experian 2011 Online Annual Report

The Client
Experian is the leading global information services company, providing data and analytical tools to clients in more than 80 countries. Their vision is for Experian’s people, data and technology to become a necessary part
of every major consumer economy.
To communicate this message to over 12,000 employees, investors and partners, Experian look to their web sites to help convey the message. That is why the Experian Annual Online Report is a key part of their corporate communications strategy.
The Challenge
To build an online report that both integrates with the main Experian PLC web site but also the Annual printed version which is created each year. It has to be produced in full HTML and PDF format to the highest standard within a very short period of time (normally within 10 days) using a process that will minimise the proofreading and testing process.
The Solution
Accrue Digital used our own import and translation tool to pull the InDesign files directly into the new web sites converting them to XHTML in the process. This has many advantages including; reducing the build time for the web sites, significantly reducing the proof reading and testing (as this would have been done for the printed version of the reports) and ensuring consistency across media.
Our Work
This work demonstrated our highly innovative approach to what is normally considered to be a time consuming, laborious process. A strong team working across the Accrue family of companies supported by excellent technology, processes and almost a fanatical eye for detail have produced a web site that the client is very happy with. In fact we have already started on next year's report as we speak!
