The Client
STEP Enterprise have over 11 years of experience in developing some of the UK’s most highly regarded student and graduate placement programmes. They have managed and are further developing the highly acclaimed Shell Step programme that has won numerous awards and accolades. They have harnessed this experience and knowledge to create opportunities where they can help talented students and graduates to flourish.
The Challenge
To build a web site that reflected the different types of visitors that would use the site. These included students, employers, government departments and universities etc. At the same time to ensure the site could be easily updated and managed from within the STEP organisation. The site had to also integrate with the online placement management tool already being used in a seamless and simple way. All had to be completed within a set budget and timescale.
The Solution
A very different website with clear colour zoning and a style that is both innovative yet practical. The site contains a bespoke Content Management System that centrally manages all the content, making the management of the site content easy and quick to complete. The web site is also expandable and has recently undergone a small makeover, continuing the on-going development of the brand. The system's unique structure and technology has made these changes quick and easy to complete.
Our Work
The work included close collaboration between our design and technical teams to ensure the resulting web site was both functional yet designed to be different and stand out. This balance between our design and technical capability is our trademark and helps differentiate our offering from many of our competitors.
